Shelves on dry wall (picture included) and only the glass door of the ikea ekhet unit. Less than an hour required.

We want to add a door handle to the outside of our door. Currently, the door can only be opened from the inside once fully shut. We’ve been told this is due to the manufacturer’s specific design (a German company that is now closed) and that we may need to contact them. However, we’ve seen that many shops and restaurants in our same building (same door) have successfully had a handyman make this modification.

the window box at the front of my house needs replanting

Just moved into a new flat and have found that one of the Sash Window Restrictors are partly painted over and cannot be undone with the key, the other restrictor can be unlocked. Would like to see if the paint can be removed on the stuck restrictor such that the key can be used to unlock the restrictor.

Ideally just want to just to fix it eiter with a bit of sealant, pine and wood filler and some paint or with appplying plastic sheet to either side far enougfh up so seal it and make it waterproof - or adding a storm guard to help with this - just need a fix that will last about 2 years rather than a full door replacement. Happy to be open to other ideas.

The tension feels uneven when opening or closing. The work should require: Remove the interior staff bead (thin strip of wood on the left side holding the lower sash in place) Take out the bottom sash carefully — lift it slightly, tilt it forward, and rest it down Open the access pocket on the side of the window frame (small painted-over panel about 10–15 cm tall, held by one or two screws) Retrieve the counterweight and attach a new sash cord (cotton or waxed nylon) Thread the new cord over the pulley wheel, reattach it to the sash, and rebalance both sides The window and glass are intact; it just needs the cord mechanism repaired and adjusted. Please bring the cord and tools.

Hi there, this morning I tried to close and lock my balcony as normal. And in order to lock, the handle needs to be pulled up. It’s totally jammed and I can’t lock it. Also I need my coat drilled to wall. It fell off and took a little bit of the wall to. I get home around 6:15pm. Thanks
