Need to put a nail in a wall to hang a frame

We have bought a Master Lock Key Safe, 5401EURD, Key Lock and we want to drill it into the front of our house without causing any damage to the property. We want it to be secure and not easily fall off.

Smoke alarm battery needs changing. It’s on a high landing ceiling 3.3 metres tall and I don’t have a tall enough ladder. You will need to bring a long ladder, use a flat headed screwdriver (which I will provide) to remove the alarm from the ceiling, replace the battery (which I will provide) and then refit the alarm into place.

Securing a heavy frame to a wall, this frame is in a stairwell high up and will need a long ladder. We are on the 19th floor so ladder needs to be telescopic to go in lift or need to take up stairs. Thanks

Hi there — we’re looking for a reliable and experienced handyperson to help with a few small household jobs in our house: Jobs to be done: 1) Remove and replace 1 kitchen cabinet door (new door is pre-drilled; hinges supplied; see picture below showing door that needs removing and the replacement which is pre-drilled) 2) Remove and replace 1 kitchen end panel (panel already purchased; see picture of corner panel with water damage that needs removing) 3) Mount 1 coat rack and 1 single coat hook 4) Install 1 curtain rail (for french doors) All items have already been bought — you’ll just need to bring your own tools (drill, level, etc.) and the appropriate wall fixings. Wall info: We’re not 100% sure on the wall types, but here’s our best guess: - The coat hook is going onto a hollow plasterboard/drywall wall - The curtain rail looks like it’s going into dot and dab (plasterboard on a solid wall) - The coat rack may be either — we’ll show you on the day We have some screws and plugs but would prefer if you could bring a range of fixings suitable for both hollow and dot-and-dab walls (e.g. toggle bolts, long screws and wall plugs, GripIt, etc.). Details: Parking: We can give you a Lambeth resident visitor parking ticket if you provide your car registration . Timing: Flexible — ideally this weekend or next week.
