Tv mounting on plaster board I already have studs in the wall

I need to mount a large but thin TV onto the wall. Currently it's on a stand, but 1) I can't remove the screws to get rid of the stand so its ready for wall mount, and 2) I also don't want to mount it onto the wall wrong because I don't have the equipment to accurately measure.

Put up a 40 inch tv on the wall with bracket.

I need curtain tracks mounted in the ceiling recess. 4x main curtain tracks (2x 250cm, 2x 330cm) Tracks are already assembled, mounting brackets are included. Also 2x small 60cm tracks that are separate, which need to be cut to size to fit in the corner of the window. Ceiling height is roughly 250cm, I have a 40cm high step stool.
