Install a new double shower bath mixer tape. Also check out waste drainage from hand basin and from bath tub and possibly change the waste pipes to both as there is a blockage.

I have a mixer tap that is heavily dripping (driven by the hot tap I think) - it has not turned off for a while unless you partially turned it back on a small way ( if you turn it off fully there is a steady flow of water), now it is dripping even when you turn it back on a small way. The tap is also a bit loose/wobbly on the sink but I think that is a separate issue - ideally this would be fixed too!

The cover plate of my shower (that has the flow & temp controls) has been leaking. It's just a slow drip as far as I can see, but obviously there could be more going on behind the plate that I can't see / access.

We have evidence of a possible water leak from the bathroom. After longer showers, water is leaking into the adjacent kitchen, and there is a brown water stain on the bathroom wall. There is also mould in the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. We need the source of the water ingress investigated urgently, as we’re concerned that moisture may be getting into the building fabric.

Looking for an experienced Gas Safe registered heating engineer/plumber to come to my flat in Kennington/Oval on Wednesday 30 September to look at two issues: 1. Baxi boiler / central heating system * Baxi Megaflo 24 System ErP, installed around 2016/17 when the flat was built. * The boiler/system is currently working, but the pressure gradually drops and needs topping up roughly once a week. * I’d like someone to diagnose why it is losing pressure and check for obvious issues such as the expansion vessel, pressure relief valve, filling loop or a leak elsewhere in the system. * The boiler is approaching 10 years old and hasn’t been serviced since I moved in during 2023, so I’d also like a proper boiler service/check while you’re here. * I’m particularly keen to make sure the system is reliable before winter and before I rent the flat out while travelling. 2. Leaking shower temperature control The thermostatic temperature dial on one of the showers is leaking around the control/faceplate area (photos attached). I’d like this investigated and, if it’s a straightforward cartridge/seal/washer issue, repaired at the same visit. Please only offer if you are Gas Safe registered and comfortable diagnosing both boiler/heating-system pressure issues and shower plumbing. I’m looking to spend around £150 for the visit/service and straightforward repairs. I have an Airtasker voucher worth £200, but this needs to cover the total including Airtasker fees, so please bear that in mind when making an offer. The shower keeps dripping need someone to suggest a solution and fix the shower. Already tried to solve replacing the shower head; the leak didn't get solved. Task has 2 parts, 1. Shower looks like the one in the attached picture (brand: Aqualisa), it is thermostatic. You can suggest or bring the new parts; they don't need to be from Aqualisa, but still be good quality and have a warranty. The person must come with their own set of tools. Repair Toilet Flush Mechanism. The plate attaches to the wall bracket but the flush mechanism is not attcahed and I believe a small part has broken off. I do not have a replacement and not sure if one is required.

The push button toilet flush has stopped working because the thin plastic pneumatic air tube inside the cistern has snapped. Need the broken plastic tubing pulled off and replaced with new piece of tubing.

Plumber needed for built in / concealed cistern. The flush button can be pressed down but the toilet does not flush. I can hear water running inside/behind the toilet and there is a small continuous trickle of water into the toilet bowl, although the water level in the bowl is not rising. The toilet and cistern are built into a tiled wall, but the flush button/plate appears to be removable. 10:30am tomorrow please.

Two bathrooms, back to back, and alongside an outside wall on the second floor of a purpose-built building. The toilets share a waste pipe, waste is flowing from one toilet to another and back again. It seems that there may be a blockage to the outside waste pipe. This job may require going into the cabinet behind the cistern in the main bathroom. (Easy access)

Concealed Geberit toilet cistern leaking slowly into the bowl. After flushing, it refills normally, then starts topping up/hissing again about 5 minutes later. Likely flush valve seal/gasket issue. Access is available through the flush plate, so no tiles need removing. Looking for a plumber experienced with concealed Geberit cisterns to diagnose, repair/replace the faulty seal or valve if needed, and test afterwards. Please quote labour and indicate whether parts are included.

The flush button mechanism for my toilet has come loose behind the wooden panel. The grey flush actuator/mechanism is currently being held in place with cable ties; without them it hangs loose, and when the flush button is pressed the whole mechanism moves instead of staying securely mounted. I’m looking for someone to inspect it and properly secure/remount the mechanism, ideally with a suitable bracket/fixing rather than cable ties, and make sure the flush operates correctly. Access is available behind the toilet and I can provide photos. Ideally looking for someone with experience repairing concealed cistern/toilet flush mechanisms. Please bring any appropriate brackets/fixings that may be required.

Update - flush has broken on toilet in cistern - it looks like a part has broken off (unclear) and water is filling into the cistern but very slowly; and the flush is moving very slowly.
