Hi there, We’re based in Hackney E9 and are looking for an experienced local tradesperson to help us refresh our small bathroom. We’d love to get an idea of labour costs and timescales before shortlisting and arranging site visits for detailed quotes. Please supply a top line estimate based on below: Scope of work: • Remove existing wall tiles and floor lino Retile: • Two walls at 70cm (w) x 170cm (h) • One wall at 170cm (w) x 170cm (h) • Floor area 150cm x 170cm • Repaint bathroom (walls and ceiling) • Refit new shower screen • Remastic around bath • Refit new light fitting • Refit new extractor fan • Hang bathroom cabinet (with lighting – power already on that wall) We’ll be supplying all main materials (tiles, paint, shower screen, fittings, etc.), but would need you to provide all necessary fixtures and fittings for installation. (NB: We may also supply our own grout, as we’re looking at coloured options.) Please could you share a rough idea of labour costs and an approximate timescale for the work? We have one ceiling down light that needs repairing. New bulbs dont work. Either a faulty connection or fitting needs replacing.
