Looking for an experienced handyman to help complete a modular chicken enclosure setup at my home in Wantirna South. The structure is already mostly in place, and all materials are on-site. The job is straightforward and mainly involves: 1. Installing predator-proof mesh across the top (mesh is pre-cut to size) 2. Securing/bolting together approximately 5 modular panels The panels slot into pre-installed brackets, so it’s more of an assembly and securing job rather than a full build. What’s Provided: All materials supplied (mesh, panels, steel bars, zip ties, bolts) Everything laid out and ready to go What You’ll Need: Your own tools (spanners, drill, etc.) Experience with similar installs (fencing, enclosures, modular panels preferred) Important: Looking for someone who has done similar work before and can complete this cleanly and securely the first time. Due to mobility constraints, I won’t be able to physically assist much, so I need someone confident working independently.

I’m looking for an experienced, reliable tradie to complete waterproofing and re‑tiling on my balcony. Total of 8 tiles across two areas, plus small edging cuts around pergola posts. Tile size: 450 × 450 mm. Areas Area A: 6 tiles removed Area B: 2 tiles removed + a section of timber/plywood subfloor missing (see photos) Day 1 – Waterproofing - Cut, fit and seal a 9 mm plywood piece to replace the missing subfloor in Area B. - Apply 2 coats of waterproofing membrane, sealing all gaps with polyurethane and/or join band. - Surface must be smooth, even and fully sealed. - One coat was already applied; if it wasn’t done correctly, apply 2 new coats (preferred). After curing, I will test the membrane. If it fails, you must return to fix any issues or we won't proceed woth Day2 and Day3. Day 2 – Tiling - Install 8 tiles as per photos. - Small cuts required around pergola posts. - Must ensure membrane is not damaged and tiles are level with existing ones. Day 3 – Epoxy Grout - Apply epoxy grout to all new tiles. Experience essential. Materials All supplied by me: tiles, adhesive, join band, plywood, epoxy grout, consumables. We have noises in our roof cavity that we believe are possums / sugar gliders but are not sure as could also be rats. We would like assistance in both identifying what is in the roof and help with getting them out or relocated. Our roof cavity is quite small and entrance is far away from where noises are, I have a wildlife camera I wanted to put in there but it's too hard for me to traverse the rafters!
