Hi Tasker Seeking cost quotes to install curtain rods on 3x windows. My curtains are (a) 2.90 metres long so Tasker needs to bring ladder, (b) weighing 10kg for each window, so Tasker needs to be experienced in finding studs, using anchors on dry wall, etc. My goals are: - Securely and safely install the rods. My walls are newly plastered and they are old walls. So someone who knows how to do this safely will be appreciated! - install curtains as high as possible until the curtains are just about to kiss the floor. I can be your assistant to doing any of the tasks. I’m just not much of a handyman! My materials: I already have these: - 3x IKEA rods - IKEA brackets (4 pcs allocated each for 2x large windows, and 2 pcs brackets allocated for the 3rd medium sized window) - additional materials like anchors and screws —- I don’t have these yet. Four of our drawers need the soft close mechanism replaced as they are worn out. In the photo, they are the two top drawers on the left and the two larger drawers in the middle. We contacted the sellers of the triomax by harn and that product is no longer being made so it is likely that you will need to remove these completely and replace them with an alternative soft close mechanism. We are happy to pay for the parts, if you source an appropriate replacement. Price is negotiable as it is for labour only (as we do not know how much the replacements will cost and how long to install).

Hi I need a handyman to replace some weatherboards by midday this Friday please. I have tried myself to putty up the rotten areas but it looks terrible, so I just need them replaced and then a small paint job done to blend in with the boards around them (so the new boards aren't obvious). There is 5 - 7 boards of varying lengths in total. Thanks

I have purchased a set of 4 wooden coat hooks. I would like them installed into my plasterboard wall (drilled into the stud). The hooks come with a half screw half bolt piece that fastens them to the wall. But I believe a pilot hole will need to be drilled. You will also need to find the stud for the correct installation position. Photo of hooks and bolt pieces. Also photo of location in house to be installed.
