Install 3 curtain rod brackets above window-metal frame. We need 3 brackets installed for a curtain rod above the window. Curtain rod and brackets are supplied (photos provided show brackets & instructions from packaging). We attempted to install the brackets ourselves and found that there appears to be metal/aluminium behind the window frame, so we weren't able to drill through it with our standard drill bit. Looking for someone experienced who can assess the window/frame and use the appropriate fixings and tools to securely install the 3 brackets. Please bring your own tools and suitable fixings. Ideally looking for someone experienced with installing curtain rods around aluminium/metal window frames.

I'm replacing an old internal passage door knob and have already removed the existing knobs, spindle, fixing plates and screws. The old 70 mm backset latch is still inside the timber door and I haven’t been able to remove it. The latch moves freely towards the edge of the door, but fixed metal/brass projections on the latch body prevent it from passing through the existing edge bore. I don’t want to force it or damage/enlarge the door unnecessarily. I’m looking for someone experienced with door hardware/older Gainsborough-style latches who can: • Safely remove the remaining old latch mechanism without damaging the door • Install my supplied new 70 mm Gainsborough passage latch • Install my supplied Delf Marbella passage knob set using the supplied/compatible spindle I already have • Check the existing strike alignment and adjust only if required • Make sure the knob turns smoothly and the door opens, closes and latches correctly The door already has an approximately 54 mm face bore and 25 mm edge bore, with a 70 mm backset. All new hardware is already supplied. Ideally looking for an experienced handyman, carpenter or locksmith who is comfortable removing older door hardware and can complete the installation neatly without unnecessarily enlarging or damaging the existing door

I have a window frame with rot, likely quite extensive. Looking for a carpenter to fix rot damage. The worst part is on one pane where the section of the frame sinks in. Most of the window could generally use a patchup as well. All in all there are two big windows split into 6 smaller panes each. One of the big ones needs extensive work to carve out the rot and fill and there are various parts of both windows which need patching done

I need someone to install a dog door for me. It needs to be added to a double glaze french panel door that is 2700mm high. Image attached of the door. I haven’t purchased dog door as yet, can provide intel’s you have a recommendation.

New town houses are going up at the rear of our house. I want to build a soundproofed enclosure for our 3 x air conditioners that are next to the new neighbours small 2m back yard. I would like 2 x 'air gapped' 100mm gap of cement sheeting built. So it is (not touching). Then install soundproofing insulation bats in between the cement sheets or stuck to one side. (i have the Bradford sound proofing bats already to use). I also have the styrofoam insulation sheets that are in the photos that can be attached too. So the person who builds it will also have to build the air gapped cement sheets on the ceiling of the enclosure and then put back the corrugated steel roof. ( I already have heaps of corrugated steel for roof). I would like the person to pull down all the current materials. So they can rebuild the enclosure. There is wooden framing already there. Although I want an additional wooden frame built to ensure its not touching. I would like it to be very well gap filled & caulked so all edges are sound proofed totally. Reinstall 4x battery powered roller blinds onto window frames. Blinds were recently removed due to window repairs.

Need to replace this medium dog door with a bigger one for our dog as she is too small for it. Want quotes for how much it’ll cost to cut a bit more of the glass and install a dog door we will buy in the same fashion
