We need to sound proof a window (preferably from the outside) to block noises from - ducted gas heater. We have insulation batts and a sound blocking heavy rubber that can be used / attached but we are needing guidance and muscle power from somebody who has done this before. The sound proofing needs to be very good - we don’t want to hear anything from the inside.

Hi, we need some sound proofing / sealing of minor spaces in our treatment room. Pictures are attached. It was recommended by an acoustic engineer to minimize the sound coming from another room. Monday and Tuesday would be best. We are inside Salon Lane in the West End Village. Soundproof a sliding door

Hi, I have 5 proofing panels need to be put up using liquid nails. On cement wall. The sound panels will need to have a thin ply wood (or similar) attached to them so they do not get ruined. I believe its a 1 hour job with quick drying nails. Looking for someone to do this tonight if possible as I have an event tomorrow. Thursday 16th at 8pm.

Recently moved into apartment and some sound is leaking through the doors from the balcony from the road. Need to soundproof the edges to prevent sound from the main road when doors are closed. 3 doors in total. Might have to do windows as well (need to diagnose if sound is leaking there). Looking for an experienced handyman to apply soundproofing tape to my polycarbonate roof to reduce rain noise. Task details: Clean: Deep clean the roof surface (corrugated ribs) with methylated spirits to ensure proper adhesion. Apply Tape: Apply Butyl Flashing Tape (e.g., Byute Flash) along the top of the ribs. Tape must be applied longitudinally (following the water flow) to avoid blocking drainage. Pressing: Use a seam roller to ensure the tape is firmly bonded with no air bubbles. Requirements: MUST have Public Liability Insurance. MUST have your own ladder (Single story height). I will provide the materials (Byute Flash & Methylated Spirits). Estimated work time: 2 hours.

Need someone experienced with aluminium sliding door repairs/sealing to help reduce draughts and outside noise coming through a sliding door. Main task is to replace worn brush seals / pile seals, then inspect the door for any other sensible sealing improvements.
