The sound system of my car is not working. Displaying unit and volume console is okay but there’s no sound coming out of my speakers. There’s an issue with the amplifier, the code is B15C3. A common issue with Mark Levinson amplifiers.

I have a rackmount amplifier that doesn’t fully work. One channel doesn’t make any noise. The other channel is noisy on the volume knob and gets overcurrent when powering a speaker that its limits so I need it to have a full service. Replace what components have failed and get it fully working again.

I'm on the verge of purchasing a second-hand power amplifier (home hi-fi) from an online forum member. The amp is a Metaxas Solitaire (Australian Made) that could be upto 40 years old. Hi, I have 3 components from a 1990's Sherwood tower system, and I believe the amplifier isn't working. The three components I want to use together are the ES-2180C surround processor, EQ-2155 equaliser and the AI-2110R Amp.. They will be powering Wellings 80W fronts, their own Sherwood rears and a powered sub. Inputs will be TV (via DAC) and a turntable.. I can see the EQ screen reacting to the turntable but nothing from the speakers

I have a 1970s Onkyo X-3 4-Channel Surround Stereo System (integrated amp/receiver) that produces a loud, low-frequency hum when powered on. Hum is constant and unaffected by any front panel control (volume, bass, treble, balance, etc.) Hum remains identical regardless of which input is selected (Phono, Tape, FM, AUX) No cables are plugged into any RCA inputs — hum persists even with nothing connected Likely the aging electrolytic capacitors in the power supply that needs a recap though I'd welcome a proper diagnosis from someone experienced with vintage hi-fi equipment.

I have an amp mixer of which when I pulled the kettle plug out it took one of the prongs with it. Also one of the volume buttons is a bit Gammy. I'm thinking I might need a pre-mixer to take some of the load perhaps it got a little warm hence the power prong came loose.. I don't believe it's blown but any help getting it working again would be great it's only for my front room so it hasn't been flogged.
