During fault finding, one channel (CH2) exhibited DC offset and the fault progressed to a high-current condition. The unit now no longer powers up and appears to have a short in the output/driver stage. Looking for an experienced electronics technician capable of component-level repair of car amplifiers (MOSFETs, driver transistors, ICs, etc.), not simply replacement.
