Our Sony TV (model no. KD-55X85J) is broken. The sound still works, the backlight still works but the picture doesn’t work. I’m assuming it’s an issue with the TCON but I’m not an expert. If you know your way around a TV and think you know how to get the picture working, get in touch! It’s also worth noting that I have tried power cycling, a hard reset and I also don’t have any external connections connected

Hi My Tv was working 2 days ago, I left home for the weekend and came back now the Tv is not turning on. There is no power light, no sound. The bottom light blinks white but the tv doesn't turn on. It used to go to Sony and restart again and again or switch off suddenly but now it's not turning on at all. Sony KD65X80J - Screen Size 65” - requires repair. TV can initially boot up however the SONY logo starts to fade until it disappears from the screen completely. I’ve tried all self service options and haven’t had any success. TV hasn’t been in direct sunlight or exposed to any water etc. TV is also only 3.5 years old.
