Mount soundproofing panels to office walls

$500

Perth WA, Australia

11th Mar 2024

We have 7 soundproofing wall panels that need to be mounted to two walls. Some of the panels will need to be trimmed down to size, they are 18mm thick. Instructions from the manufacturer re mounting are below: Once they are cut to the right size, you would need to spray the glue on the panel and wall, put a strip of liquid nails around the edges of the panel and a strip down the middle, then stick it on. If there are power outlets, switches etc. we usually take the cap off the wall, make a small hole in the panel for the cabling to come through and then install the cap back on top of the panel leaving a perfect finish. First two pictures are what are panels look like prior to mounting, third picture is what we want them to look like finished.

Soundproofing in main entrance/hallway/stairs to the upper level.

$150

Mullaloo WA 6027, Australia

13th Jun 2023

We have a double story house. We live downstairs and we rent the upstairs. The tenants come through the main entrance into the hallway and take stairs to the upper level. In the hallway there are 2 doors (1x double 1x single). This is where the majority of sound seems to come through. There is also an echo in the hallway due to the high ceiling. I've attached a video walkthrough to try to explain in more detail. Could you please provide a quotation/options for us to eliminate the sound. - Due date: Flexible

Soundproof down pipes on my house

$60

Doubleview WA, Australia

10th Jun 2022

There is a constant drip from the drainpipes at my house after rain as the Downpipes drop straight down with no bend. I would like to stop this dripping sound. Possibly by getting on the roof and inserting a Sponge at the bottom of each pipe. Should be a quick job to do.

Professional service and got the job done quickly with no dramas. Would definitely recommend.

Board up a window (Sound proofing)

$250

Kensington WA, Australia

4th Jul 2020

- Window size - 232.5w x 79h. Boarded up from the outside. - Two layers of MDF or plywood screwed together (double layer better soundproofing). Prefer black MDF but also not overly fussed (example of another window already done attached). - Run a strip of approx 1cm rubber around window frame first for the wood panel to butt up against (helps with sound proofing). - Only use 4/6 screws to keep the wood up (less contact points better for soundproofing) - Silicon up any gaps (possibly at the bottom given the way the wood is).
