( see photos 1&2) • Remove existing sheets • Install 6 × 3.6 m polycarbonate sheets on veranda (approx. 4 m × 3.1 m) • Height approx. 2.4 m — ladder work required • Sheets may need trimming to fit • Existing flashing is in good condition and will be reused • Fixings and screw holes already in place • Waste to be stacked on my trailer — I’ll handle disposal • Easy access to work area Taks 2 - Replace horizontal support beams (see photo 3): • Replace 2 × 90 × 45 mm × 2.4 m beams supporting a vine trellis • Beams run from fascia to upright trestle • Upright posts are solid — no structural changes needed • New beams are cut to size. pre-painted and ready to install • Straightforward remove and refit Requirements • Experience with pergola or carport roofing • Confident and safe working on ladders • Must bring own tools and safety gear • Familiar with polycarbonate installation • Basic carpentry skills for beam replacement

We have just moved into an old house in Reservoir and we have a possum in our roof. We don’t have a ladder so haven’t been up into manhole yet but can hear it every night. We’ve just come back from a week away and now there is a smell too - can you provide a quote to remove and patch up hole?

Retrofit suitable insulation to reduce interior temperature of already constructed colourbond shed with steel frame. Open to suggestions for insulation but considering a rigid foil board would probably suit the best. Could involve construction of internal non-structural frame to hold in place with air gaps (and allow for later internal lining) will take advice on retrofit frame material. Bonus points if you can insulate the roller door. Ceiling already has whirlybird and foil (if roof insulation can be upgraded / extended on but walls are the priority). I am looking for a qualified Roof Plumber or Waterproofing specialist to fix a leaking concrete porch roof at my property in Reservoir. The Problem: The concrete slab above my porch is flat and holding water (pooling). The water is permeating through the concrete, causing efflorescence/mould on the brickwork below. The current drainage (a small scupper pipe) is insufficient and dumps water onto the ground/foundations. The Goal: I require a long-term fix that corrects the drainage slope and connects the outlet properly to the existing stormwater system. Scope of Work: 1. Preparation: Clean and prep the concrete surface (remove built-up moss/soil/loose debris). 2. Screeding: Supply and apply a sand/cement screed to create a proper fall (slope) towards the outlet so water no longer pools. 3. Waterproofing: Apply a high-quality, UV-stable waterproofing membrane (2+ coats) with proper bond-breaker fillets in the corners. 4. Plumbing Connection: Upgrade the existing small outlet. This likely involves drilling a larger hole and plumbing a new PVC pipe directly into the adjacent house stormwater downpipe (located approx 50cm away). 5. Flashing: Supply and install metal flashing to bridge the gap between the main tiled roof and the concrete porch to protect the timber fascia from splashback. Extra info: • Photos attached showing the concrete condition, the gap near the fascia, and the proximity of the stormwater downpipe.
