Electrician Check: I am looking for a qualified electrician to inspect a light fixture for wiring damage following the repair of a roof leak. Recent wet weather has promted a leak through a kitchen light fitting. A roofer will inspect and repair the leak around midday on 03/03. The kitchen has a high ceiling approx. 3m. Single storey residence. Seeking the job to be completed on 03/03 in the late afternoon or on Friday 06/03 before 1pm.

I have a downpipe that was disconnected to paint our house. Now needs to be reconnected.

We have just moved into an old house in Reservoir and we have a possum in our roof. We don’t have a ladder so haven’t been up into manhole yet but can hear it every night. We’ve just come back from a week away and now there is a smell too - can you provide a quote to remove and patch up hole?

I am looking for a qualified Roof Plumber or Waterproofing specialist to fix a leaking concrete porch roof at my property in Reservoir. The Problem: The concrete slab above my porch is flat and holding water (pooling). The water is permeating through the concrete, causing efflorescence/mould on the brickwork below. The current drainage (a small scupper pipe) is insufficient and dumps water onto the ground/foundations. The Goal: I require a long-term fix that corrects the drainage slope and connects the outlet properly to the existing stormwater system. Scope of Work: 1. Preparation: Clean and prep the concrete surface (remove built-up moss/soil/loose debris). 2. Screeding: Supply and apply a sand/cement screed to create a proper fall (slope) towards the outlet so water no longer pools. 3. Waterproofing: Apply a high-quality, UV-stable waterproofing membrane (2+ coats) with proper bond-breaker fillets in the corners. 4. Plumbing Connection: Upgrade the existing small outlet. This likely involves drilling a larger hole and plumbing a new PVC pipe directly into the adjacent house stormwater downpipe (located approx 50cm away). 5. Flashing: Supply and install metal flashing to bridge the gap between the main tiled roof and the concrete porch to protect the timber fascia from splashback. Extra info: • Photos attached showing the concrete condition, the gap near the fascia, and the proximity of the stormwater downpipe.
