We need to remove the metal down pipe in the corner of the house (see image)to fit a sauna into this corner. We wish to connect it up high to the one you can see on the outside of the house). Ideally we could use the metal pipe we are removing to connect to the other down pipe rather than replace with a PVC pipe but understand this may not be possible. Just trying not to create more waste. We then wish to close off the removed pipe as low to the floor or under the house. We will remove the decking there so we can see where the pipe goes. Two split system air conditioners were installed at our property in Brunswick. At our request, the installer added a pump to each unit so the drainage water could be discharged on the rooftop, avoiding impact on our neighbours. While the solution works, the pumps are very noisy at night and are affecting our sleep. We would now like to: 1. Remove the existing drainage pump from each split system (2 pumps total) 2.
