Hi, Background - I had a water leak in my bedroom window and have stopped the leak through caulking inside and outside the windows. - This window will be replaced in a few months. - I have removed the insulation and plaster wall for mould treatment - Now ready to re-install new insulation and wall Work required - see attached photos. 1. Patch small gap hole where aircon pipe is - take a photo after you patched 2. Remove mouldy timber strip that was for laying carpet 3. Supply and install wall insulation (either Bradford or Earthwool) 4. Supply and hang new plaster wall ready for painting 5. Re-install floor skirting 6. Supply paint and paint entire wall and skirting. No need to paint windows as it is getting replaced. They are now dry. I want to remove the wall plaster, insulation batts and portion of the carpet and underlay, so that I can inspect for mould and put in new insulation batts, plaster wall and carpet afterwards. Its only one side of the wall in the bedroom. The wall has a window. Size of the wall is 266cm x 480cm. Size of the window is 270cm x 112cm. See attached photos. I'm thinking the areas where there are electrical, phone outlets, and connection to aircon, to leave the wall plaster around them as it is and not remove it. Maybe like a 10-20cm margin. Bedroom is on the 3rd floor in a small townhouse. For the carpet, remove the carpet and carpet underlay about 50cm away from the wall, for the entire length of the wall You need to provide dropsheets to cover the bed and the floor, as well as a proper cover for the aircon. I need to replace the insulation in the attic of my ~50m2 single-storey villa unit. It is not a big space, but the insulation probably hasn't been touched since construction in the 60s. There is a lot of dust up there. It's a pitched terracotta roof so getting into the corners can be a little tricky - we would probably need some chipboard to lay across the ceiling joists to crawl on. We will need to: - remove and dispose of existing batts - vacuum out the roof space (if possible) - install new r5.0+ thermal batts Access is via a man hole and ladder. I can provide the batts if it is easier. There is parking at the rear of the unit, a few metres from it. I'd be glad to do the job with you if you'd like - it's a very do-able job but I don't much fancy doing it by myself without company and I don't have the required equipment to vacuum out the space. Hi, I'd like to insulate my outdoor shed to keep it cool this summer as I keep fish. The insulation process is fairly simple, cutting foilboard (light foam sheets) to size and simply sticking on the walls and roof with liquid nails. Most sheets wont even need to be cut. This will be done in combination with earthwool insulation which can be stuffed into areas where its easier rather than using the panels. Given the size is 8ft x 4ft per sheet, this task will not take too long once you get going. There is also a large bench with a plywood piece I'd like removed and replaced with new plywood which I've already purchased however may need to be cut once to fit. I believe the old piece can simply be lifted off. The door will also need a work around with screw on locks added. As well as a screw on motion sensor light installed. Again a simple screw up plug n play. To do this task I'll need the shed completely cleared out of any moveable items as well as thoroughly cleaned. I have already cleaned and removed most items myself but will need you to do the remainder. I have all the materials ready to go. Does not all need to be completed the same day, we can do it over multiple days if needed but I do need it done ASAP by someone experienced and reliable with tools.
