Need to change the bathroom tap in the bathroom sink. Have new tap purchased. Unable to remove old tap. Water supply has already been isolated. I need help removing an existing mono mixer tap from my bathroom basin. The issue is the retaining/back nut underneath the basin — it sits deep inside the ceramic recess and access is very tight due to the basin design and pipe positioning. The flexi hoses have been disconnected. The main challenge is loosening/removing the old retaining mechanism so the tap can be lifted out. You will likely need: • A basin tap back nut spanner / box spanner • Experience working in tight under-basin spaces
