You need solid experience drilling into hard bathroom tiles. Must have the right drill bits, a spirit level, and measuring tape. The job is to install three towel rails, one in each of three bathrooms. Work must be neat, level, and to a high standard.

Hi guys, I have a strange situation that I’m dealing with and I’m hopeful someone here will be able to diagnose the problem and be able to fix it! My partner and I have a mid-century shelving unit that we had installed at a previous address. The unit is made of two parts: the wooden bracket that is drilled to the wall and then the unit itself that hangs on that bracket. It’s relatively simple (or so you would think). When we had to move out of our previous address, we realised that the handyman who had installed the unit previously had drilled the screws into the rawl plugs so well that we were physically unable to remove one of them. He returned to the address with the same equipment and was unable to remove it. The screw head became drilled out and we had no option but to saw the wooden bracket in half (I know, terrible) and take it with us. The bracket was now in two pieces, and we assumed it was unusable. This leads to now. We tried to get the bracket re-cut because we thought.. this is useless. It’s in two pieces. But after seeking advice, we were informed that the bracket was a solid piece of wood that would be expensive to find and recut and that we would be better off just simply trying to use the two pieces of wood together, whilst accepting they weren’t joined. We thought.. okay, surely if the two pieces of wood are just.. drilled in next to each other on the wall, separated only marginally, it should be fine? The unit will hang without any issues. Now, clearly, we were wrong. Neither of us are DIY-inclined. I’d go as far as to say useless. As you can see from the photos, the screws aren’t deep enough. The bracket system isn’t even level. The unit is hanging at an angle. It’s obviously a disaster. I’m calling on experienced individuals to get in touch and let me know how they think it can be resolved and how much it’s going to cost. We’re open to all suggestions and we’d like it sorted as soon as possible.. so that we can move on with our lives!

L ooking for someone experienced with cosmetic composite door repairs to fix two deep chips at the bottom of a white composite front door frame (internal side). Chips are around 10cm long and 1–2cm deep. Job involves layered filler repair, sanding, priming and repainting to a neat finish.
