I am looking for an electrician to inspect two chandeliers in my home, one in the living room and the other on the hallway. Both have stopped working following bulb failures. In both chandeliers, one or two bulbs burst, and one of the incidents produced a burning smell. I have since removed all the bulbs from both chandeliers. The other electrical sockets in the living room and corridor are working normally, so I would like an electrician to investigate the issue specifically with the two chandelier fittings. Work required: 1. Inspect both chandeliers and their E12 bulb holders. 2. Check the wiring, connections and bulb holders for any signs of damage, overheating or electrical faults. 3. Establish whether the problem was caused by the previous bulbs or whether there is an underlying electrical fault. 4. Repair any faults identified and advise on suitable replacement LED bulbs. The chandeliers require E12 screw fitting bulbs, suitable for UK mains electricity. Please provide a quotation for the inspection and repair work.
