I’m looking for an experienced builder or plumber to finish preparing a wet room floor before tiling. What needs to be done: 1. Flooring: • Install new floor boards (plywood or suitable wet room flooring boards) securely over existing joists and insulation (see photos). • Make sure the floor is level, solid, and ready for tiling. • Tidy up insulation and ensure pipework is properly laid before boarding. 2. Plumbing (Second Fix): • Complete second fix plumbing for the wet room — connect and test shower mixer, hot and cold feeds, and waste pipes. • Check that all fittings are in correct positions for tiling and final fit-out. Current condition: • Floorboards have been removed, insulation and copper pipework are visible (see photos). • First fix plumbing has already been done. • The space is ready for boarding and second fix work.

I have a "Garage Defender", the external garage door security lock, which I would like installed in front of my garage door. I'm keen for the installation to be secure, done by an experienced person. I'm installing horizontal blinds (about 1.2m x 1.9m) in the window reveal of our two skylights. See the images attached. The blinds are already assembled, and I have already marked out on the reveal where I need to insert 6x rule plugs/screws to support the side rails of each blind. I'm looking for help actually doing the 'final install' as clearly the size of the blinds makes this a two-man job! I have a 5-rung step ladder which is good enough for one person doing the 'supporting' but I'm looking for handyman with a 6-rung ladder or platform that can get us a bit higher to drill into the wall horizontally / screw in the blinds and complete the installation. I have a very basic drill but a more powerfull one would be better. With the right kit I imagine the job should not take more than 1 hour.
