Please help fixing a damaged section of laminate flooring. The damage is located at the threshold of a doorway, where the laminate planks have become loose and separated from each other. There is also some visible water damage around the damaged area. The task is to repair the damaged laminate flooring. This will likely involve removing the damaged planks, repairing any underlying damage to the subfloor, and then installing new laminate planks. It may be possible to simply repair the existing planks.

I have removed some casing around some wires and would like to patch over this hole with some parquet flooring. To do this, I believe you will need to pull up 3 pieces of the flooring, using a heat gun potentially. You will then glue down 3 new pieces of parquet flooring to extend over the hole.

(reposted this task, previous tasker fell through) We have removed old laminate flooring downstairs to reveal old floorboards. In a few months we want to install a better engineered wood floor, but we have some other work to complete first. Therefore we need to clean up and sand our floorboards so we can live with it as a temporary solution. No special staining or painting required - just sanding to a reasonable finish. It is 8m x 4 m - 32 square meters in total. The tasker will need to bring their own sanding machinery including edging sander (and ideally a vacuum cleaner, since we only have a hand vacuum)
