We're looking for an experienced flooring fitter to repair a vinyl flooring in our upstairs fitness studio in East Dulwich (SE22). Issue: Recent hot weather has caused the adhesive to soften. The vinyl has lifted and moved away from the adjoining carpet. We need the flooring professionally re-bonded and secured so it can withstand heavy daily foot traffic and heat pressure adhesive. Requirements: Supply suitable commercial/high-temperature flooring adhesive. Remove old adhesive where necessary. Reposition and securely re-bond the vinyl. Advise if a transition strip is required and fit if appropriate. Leave the area clean and safe for gym use. Hi there, I need someone to (i) install 1 room (3.8m x 2.85m) with engineered wood flooring (Herringbone style) with underlay. See photo of room with crittall doors. There is no need to deal with skirting as my builder will install that separately after flooring is completed (the skirting in the photo is not fixed and has simply been cut to size). (ii) install carpet (and underlay) to 1 bedroom (5.3m x 3.1m). See photo of loft bedroom with Velux windows. (iii) install carpet (and underlay) to new staircase - total 16 steps. Install of 18.5 sq m of vinyl plank flooring - https://www.floorsforpaws.com/pawsafe/pawsafe-domestic-range (Coco style) on 5th March Flooring plywood is already in place and all flooring substrates required (screenshot) are on site, instructions from supplier on method of install: A lot of our fitters use  Ardex feather finish to ensure then don’t ghost through over time. Apply once in plyboard joins, allow to dry and then apply again to ensure the joins are completely level with the plyboard. The planks/tiles can be cut with a Stanley knife (hook or straight blade).  Follow the instructions on the adhesive, you need a A2 Trowel you need the trowel at 60 degrees, apply a thin layer, butt each tile up to the others Use a P131 primer over the plyboard and when dry use FBall F48 adhesive to adhere the planks. The PawSafe domestic flooring needs to be laid into wet acrylic adhesive.  Do not let the adhesive go tacky.

I need a handyman/carpenter to tidy up a bedroom where there are gaps between the skirting boards and the floor/walls. The job involves: • Refitting or replacing skirting boards where needed • Filling/sealing gaps so the room is draft-free and neat • Preparing the floor area so it’s suitable for vinyl flooring later

We have a chopping board that was made by a friend and due to not being treated or oiled, food has started to seep in. We need someone with experience making chopping boards to sand it down a bit and treat it so we can continue using it without more food juices seeping into the wood.

I’m looking to get the kitchen floor smoothed and finished. It is a concrete floor with two coats of paint that has flaked away. The floor also has a crack. I need help fitting new skirting boards in my small living room. Had a painter trying to help me, but I am not happy with the results so am ripping the existing skirting board out and starting again. Specifications: - Room measures 3.89m x 3.35m, I've counted 14 "bits" - Has a bay window - Not all angles are 90 degrees! - Measurement tool and mitre box required for the job - Walls are slightly damaged at the bottom. I have therefore gone for a slightly higher profile than the last attempt (12 cm) Materials provided: - Skirting boards in 3 m lengths.
