I’m looking for an experienced floor sanding specialist to restore the timber floor in a small front room in my house in East London. The floor is engineered oak (I believe), and has surface scratches, scuff marks and some black marks from general wear. Before committing to the work, I’d like you to assess whether the floor has sufficient wear layer to be professionally sanded and refinished. If suitable, I’m looking for: * Light sanding of the existing floor * Filling any minor gaps if required * Professional finish with a durable matt lacquer or hardwax oil (happy to discuss the best option) * Leave the floor looking as close to new as possible The room is approximately 7.4 m² (around 2.3 m × 3.2 m). I have recently had engineered wood flooring fitted but there has been some gaps appear between some planks. I would like someone to see what can be done to fix the gaps. I have attached an example of the biggest gap

I’m looking for someone experienced in fitting herringbone laminate flooring to complete a small unfinished section in my bedroom. When the flooring was originally installed, I had fitted wardrobes in place, so the flooring wasn’t laid underneath them. I’ve now removed the wardrobes and would like the flooring completed. Job details: • Two small areas to be fitted (approximately 45 cm × 50 cm each). • I already have matching spare laminate boards. • The boards will need to be cut to size and fitted to continue the existing herringbone pattern. • To achieve the best finish, it may be necessary to lift and refit some of the surrounding laminate boards, depending on the best approach. I’ll be attaching photos of: • The unfinished areas. • The spare laminate boards. Install engineered wood flooring for roughly 24m2

Need an experienced carpet repair specialist to fix a small burn mark caused by a clothing iron. The damage is localized to one area only. Important: I do not have any spare carpet and cannot cut a patch from another area of the carpet, so I’m looking for someone who can provide an alternative repair solution or supply a closely matched patch/material. The repair needs to be as unnoticeable/invisible as possible once completed, ideally blended so it’s very difficult to notice. The flat is small, all rooms except the bathroom will have the new floor (see floor plan) I think an mdf layer will be needed to level everything and then the herringbone laid on top. Hi, I need a handyman/qualified tradie to repair a damaged lower part of a wall where the old skirting board was removed (please note this is a whole one-sided wall despite the pictures, measuring 320 cm including a small corner). The wall and laminate flooring now have a visible gap (see photos). What I need done: - Clean and prep the exposed area - Patch/repair the damaged wall edge (plaster/compound) - Fill or cover the floor-to-wall gap neatly without installing a new skirting board, because I need space for furniture - Ensure the finish is smooth, tidy, and matches the existing wall and floor as closely as possible Spare laminate boards that match the floor is provided to fill in the gap.
