The portable air con we have had for four years but bought second hand was in storage and upon taking it out, the cooling doesnt engage. I tried emptying the water tank, cleaning filters but the air blowing out of the extraction hose is cool. The air coming out of the unit is also warm. It seems like only fans engage. I need help with diagnostics and costing but on a tight budget.

I have a few things in my house that need doing so I need a plumber/Electrition. First thing first washing machine is spazzing out because it was blocked, it needs cleaning again and factory reset.
