Stratford House – Electrical Issues We need a qualified electrician to inspect and assess several electrical issues at Stratford. The issue started when a guest reported a smell coming from the first-floor bathroom sink. The sink plug was stuck in the closed position, and when the water was running, the sink overflowed. Water then leaked through to the downstairs toilet area, causing the ground-floor electrics to trip. Since then, the downstairs toilet light causes the electrics to trip when switched on, suggesting there may be water-related damage to the electrical fitting. The guest has also reported that the hob ignition is continuously sparking, even though the hob and oven had not been used. They tried switching off the hob and the main circuit breaker, but the sparking continued. The sparking only stopped when they switched off the black isolator/fused spur switch located to the left of the red switch. The guest also reported that when the lights tripped previously, the mains power to the kitchen went off as well, which may indicate an issue with the electrical circuit or how the kitchen lights are connected. Hi! I’m looking for someone to remove an old electric shower unit from the tiled wall above my bath and make the area look tidy afterwards. I’ve been told the unit is disconnected, but I’d like someone to check that both the electricity and the water pipe behind it are safely dealt with before removing it. I have a few things in my house that need doing so I need a plumber/Electrition. First thing first washing machine is spazzing out because it was blocked, it needs cleaning again and factory reset. Second thing is shower water isn’t getting hot enough because there was a radiator leak in the bathroom. My husband tightened it which stopped the leak. But since then, not much hot water so I think the radiator valve needs changing.
