I’m looking for a qualified/experienced electrician to carry out several small jobs in my one-bedroom flat in Bow. Lighting: Remove and replace 4 existing ceiling light fittings (living room, dining/office area, hallway and bedroom). I will supply all replacement fittings/bulbs. - Living room: replacement of a flush mount with a pendant fitting and lightweight paper shade. - Dining/office: replace an identical flush mount and install pendant fitting and add a small ceiling hook/fixing so the flex can run from the existing electrical point and hang centrally over the dining table. The fitting has adjustable fabric flex. - Hallway: replace existing flush fitting with pendant fitting with exposed bulb. - Bedroom: replace existing pendant fitting with a new pendant fitting with approx. 2m cable. I’d like to retain as much cable length as possible for potentially repositioning the hanging point later. Smoke alarm: - Replace what appears to be an old mains-powered smoke alarm with battery backup with a new mains-powered alarm that I will supply. - There is also a second, empty alarm mounting plate nearby. I’d like this inspected to establish whether it has wiring / was part of an interconnected system. If it is confirmed to be redundant, I’d like the plate removed and any wiring safely dealt with. Please do not disconnect anything if it appears to form part of the building’s communal fire-alarm system. The flat is on the second floor. I am attaching photos of all the existing fittings and can provide links/photos of the replacements in advance. Looking for someone appropriately qualified for both mains lighting and smoke-alarm work, who can test everything after installation. Mains wired smoke alarm requires replacement. Looking for an NICEIC registered electrician. New smoke alarm will be on site. The new product is the Aico Ei3016. Also, immersion heater cap has fallen off . This task was posted previously but removed by Airtasker before I could assign the task.

I had a “Electrician“ come to fit my Cooker three days ago .. then he said I’ll need a new part for my fuse box so my cooker can work .. that was two days ago he come with the incorrect part and I’m just left with a cooker that don’t work … does anyone know how to buy a 45w fuse for my fuse box so my cooker can be turned on . I can’t wait anymore days !!

Heya, I would like someone to install my new electrical cooker I have received today. I do not have any new parts or tools for it as it is a new built properly.

Minor electrical work: 1. move a light to centre of the room (4 spotlights already capped) 2. Cap off two spotlights and move to centre of a room 3. Cap off one unnecessary wall switch ready for covering 4. Remove trunking/spotlights and put in regular ceiling light Can talk through the job in person but the red rings on the photos show approx what needs to be removed/installed
