Our bathroom mixer tab is broken and we believe it is the source of a leak down to ground floor. The mixer tap may need to be replaced which we are prepared to do but we would like a qualified plumber to assess the situation and help us fix it. We also have spare bathroom tiles should we need to go down that route. We would like this to be fixed as soon as possible as the leak is getting worse. Thanks in advance.

I need my old double tap sink changed to a new sink with a single mixer tap. I have the new sink with mixer tap, pedestal and waste plug ready. Just need someone to install the new one. Have attached pictures of the new sink and the old sink.

My shower keeps switching between scalding hot and freezing cold… done a bit of research online, looks like it’s an issue with the Thermostatic Cartridge. Need to remove the cartridge and assess the situation, it might just need a descale. Just not really sure how. I’m guessing it’s not a huge job. If time and skills permit I’d also like to hand a couple of hooks on the wall, just not confident with a drill. Thanks.

i have a kitchen mixer tap that is dripping. the cartridges for both hot and cold water needs replacing and i have received the parts from the tap company. the cartridge is quite simple to replace and there's clear instructions on how to do it (just need to unscrew cap cover, use a wrench to remove old cartridge and refit new one). Water supply can easily be isolated (either underneath tap or mains supply which is within easy reach). this should take total 15-30 mins to do.

I would like to replace my mixer tap on my bathroom basin. Not the waste - this can be left. It's just disconnecting the braided hoses and the current tap, then reconnecting the same style in it's place. I have already cut off the water.

Issue: Kitchen mixer tap leaking from the gap between the hot/cold handle. The water dribbles down the shaft when in use. No flooding, the tap is still usable for now, but needs dealing with. Thoughts:likely a cartridge replacement or issue with sealing. I'd rather not replace the whole tap, but you'll do a diagnosis first and we'll discuss. Hopefully, it's a short one-and-done job: There's a Screwfix and a Toolstation nearby. If after diagnosis, the right part is available, I can nip off and buy it. Burlington Shower which is leaking through the hot water entry point. Have tried using PFTE paste, but seems to be coming from behind the thread. Leak is making a hissing sound and is less strong when hot water is turned on elsewhere.

The toilet is blocked and needs unblocking, today please, ideally before 13:00. I suppose the price is negotiable due to the urgent nature of the matter. The bowl is filling up with the flushed water and going down very very slowly-minimum 30 minutes until the water level lowers again. We believe the problem to be too many tissues were flushed at once. Please also note, the job may require you to bring an extra large plunger as the relatively large one I have doesnt quite cover the mouth of the bowl.
