Mould has grown on the wooden window frames in my flat from not being ventilated properly previously. I've treated it with vinegar but I would like them to be sanded down to remove the dark spots. The tasker will need their own sander, please see pics. Open to other ways of treating it if that would remove them. About 6 frames to fix, the worst being the balcony door frame which I've also added a pic of.

Window frame has almost rotted through. Window frame needs replacing and possibly the windows. Fix shed door that closes but does not stay fully shut (lock slipping).

I’m looking for an experienced carpenter/joiner to repair rotten timber around an existing glazed door/window frame. IMPORTANT – FIXED PRICE / MATERIALS INCLUDED I’m looking for an all-inclusive quote covering labour, materials, Airtasker fees and other expected costs. I’m not looking for a labour-only quote with materials charged separately on the day. I appreciate there may be hidden damage that cannot be assessed from photos, and I’m not expecting you to take on unforeseen work within the original price. I just want the scope and total price for the proposed repair to be clear before work starts. If unforeseen damage is discovered once opened up, please let me know the additional work/cost before proceeding, so I can decide whether to go ahead. Two main damaged areas (see photos): Long rotten section along the horizontal timber between the upper/lower glazing. Rot/deterioration at the bottom/threshold of the frame. I do not want the whole frame replaced. I’m looking for the most economical practical repair to extend its life. Ideally: cut back loose/rotten timber, splice/replace badly damaged sections with suitable timber, use exterior-grade resin/filler for smaller areas, and seal/prime the repair for weather protection. The cause is known: rainwater drips from the balcony above and unfortunately the underlying structural issue cannot currently be rectified. If a simple, inexpensive flashing/protection could help shed water away from the repair, I’m happy to consider it. Please state what repair you propose and your fixed all-inclusive price for that scope. I’m happy to do the final topcoat painting myself to keep costs down.

Please inspect the top of the window frame where it is not firmly secured. The frame moves when pressure is applied from the top. I believe adding one anchor fixing at the top would secure the frame properly. The white rubber seal on the outside covers the gap between the window frame and the brickwork and should remain in place. There is a metal locking piece at the top that can be removed to allow access for drilling upwards and installing the additional anchor. Please check and secure the frame firmly without damaging the rubber seal or surrounding brickwork.

I recently had my sash windows double glazed and draft proofed and looking for someone to paint them and attach some handles to make them easier to use. I am on the top floor of the building. There are 4 sash windows (2 bedroom/2 living area, with each frame measuring approx H 192cm x W 130cm) and a very large and small sash windows in the kitchen. All are primed and need painting both internally and externally.

Lead paint on large Victorian sash window - removal job

The bottom part of the window frame has broken and is no longer attached to the window. It's wooden and may have rotted.

Paint x3 interior window frames (paint will be provided), put up x1 curtain pole, put up x3 curtain rails and put up x3 blinds. Photos of windows for which frames need painting and poles, rails and blinds need putting up are included.

Curtain rail needed for bay window. The curtains are eyelet curtains so would need a suitable pole. The pole would have to be drilled onto the exiting window framing. I can get the measurements needed for the pole size so it fits the curtains
