Downstairs sockets are tripping co sumer box, and boiler has turned off.

Renault master 2021. Have short circuit who almost immediately after start blowing 40 amp fuse on the battery terminal

I’ve removed a gas cooker that was previously installed and have now bought a new electric cooker which needs to be hard-wired in. The new cooker is already in position (see photo). As this was previously a gas cooker, there may not be an existing electric cooker circuit, so please assess and advise what work would be required. The consumer unit (fuse box) is in the same room, roughly 1.5 m from the cooker. The worktop unit to the left can be moved if needed and isn’t fixed in place, so access is flexible. Thanks

We are a school and moved in to a brand new building in 2022, the lift is backed up by a generator, hoever there was no proper handover on the generator. We called a copmany and they said the batteries are not charging since it is not connected to an auxiliary wire. They charged callout after callout, but never fixed it.

I’m looking for an in-home repair for an electric recliner sofa in RM13 9TU. The motor still runs, but the footrest will not extend properly. The lower footrest linkage / carrier bar is bent on both sides, likely caused by resistance (e.g. bedding trapped). The mechanism moves, but the lowest padded section stays stuck underneath and won’t come out. I believe the repair may involve straightening or replacing the recliner mechanism / linkage, not the motor. Could you please let me know: • whether you handle this type of repair • estimated cost (call-out + repair) • availability for a home visit

I have an exhaust fan in the bathroom which don’t work, I replaced the exhaust fan, it still don’t work, need to check the electrical wiring to this fan.

I’m looking for a qualified electrician to help with two electrical appliance issues in my kitchen: 1. Induction hob – circuit appears to have blown and the hob is no longer working properly (display showing E2) Needs diagnosing and repair. 2. Instant/undersink electric hot water heater – unit powers on but needs checking and fixing. Both appliances are already installed and accessible. Looking for someone experienced with induction hobs and electric water heaters.

I would like all this boiler and tank to be removed and a smaller combo boiler to be installed near by. Must be certified.

Electrician needed to check 2 lights in ceiling- one keeps tripping switchboard and one just doesn’t come on.

The flexible duct between my extractor fan exhaust and the exhaust pipe has become disconnected and needs reaffixing Not sure if the existing flexible ducting is still good or needs to be outright replaced

Existing island cooker hood has a broken motor. I will source a similar unit which needs to be installed and made good. Electrics and vent pipe are in place already and working.

Need electrician to fix bulb wiring then fit new bulbs to make the lights work . Tried a new bulb, still not working. (new bulbs will be provided.)

Put up a garden light - replace old one with new
