I've got an old Elica ciak in recirculating mode (Built-in / semi-integrated pull-out hood designed to hide inside a kitchen cabinet). i need 2 steps: First someone to have a look at my current setup and help me understand if the change can be done. Maybe look t some models with me for replacements, so i can feel confident with what i'm buying. After that, i'd need someone to install it (if there's significant work needed) . if no works are needed i can install myself. i want to understand if i can replace it with a different kind of extractor (definitely want a newer model )

Dimmer switch has stopped working. I have ordered replacement. Also some Switches in kitchen don’t appear to be working/ were not sure what they are attached to.

I have two Danfoss TP7001M mains-powered programmable thermostats controlling heating on separate floors of my duplex flat. Both thermostats suddenly stopped working. When I switch the central heating circuit off and back on at the consumer unit, both displays operate normally for approximately two minutes before going completely blank again. The circuit breaker remains ON. The flat uses a Danfoss district heating HIU. Domestic hot water is currently working. I need an experienced electrician or heating-controls specialist to investigate the common electrical supply, wiring, fused connections and thermostat control circuits, identify the cause and repair it.

The radiator is not heating up in the bathroom

Looking for a qualified electrician to complete a few straightforward lighting jobs in a ground-floor maisonette in Woodford Green (IG8). Jobs required: * Living room: Install new ceiling light (old fitting already removed). * Hallway: Remove existing ceiling light and install replacement. * Main bedroom: Remove existing ceiling light and install replacement. * Second bedroom: Remove existing ceiling light and install replacement. * Garden: Remove existing floodlight and install new PIR security light. Old light flashes once but doesn’t stay on, so wiring/supply needs checking. * Bathroom: Check stiff light switch and repair or replace if necessary. All five new light fittings have been purchased, although I’m waiting for a few deliveries. Ideally looking for someone on Thursday 22 October, with all work completed in one visit. These should be straightforward jobs. Please confirm your electrical qualifications, availability and whether your quote covers installation and testing.

Investigate and fix a hallway light that isn't working. Disconnect an old doorbell. Fit a new battery-operated Ring doorbell and wedge (no wiring required). Replace 5 single light switch faceplates. Replace 2 double light switch faceplates. Replace 2 two-gang socket faceplates. Optional additional job: If you're also handy with general DIY, I need 2 hammock brackets securely fitted to an external brick garden wall. I'll supply all replacement faceplates, the Ring doorbell, wedge, brackets and fixings. I'm looking for someone experienced and suitably qualified to carry out the electrical work safely. I'd prefer a fixed price for the complete job rather than an hourly rate, so please provide your best all-inclusive quote for the work listed, including labour and any call-out charges.
