Gyprocking to small area of wall and crack in ceiling

I am moving in to a new place and the balustrades are extremely low and not code. I’m looking for a solution to raise the height for safety as there is a 30ft drop on one side and way too low. Retro fit options for temporary solution and then full replacement of balustrades. For the temporary balustrades it’s approximately 20m walkway and also steps to the lower level we need rallying installed either side.
