I’m doing a quick DIY job on an old house. I’ve got various wall and ceiling patches, a new wall that needs lining. Doesn’t need to be perfect. Needs a plasterer who can be creative with some of the junctions. New walls are easy sheet, set, sand. Some of the other items are just needing a creative approach to make them work. Work zone doesn’t need any care - no carpet down so no major need to be clean and tidy - I can tidy up afterwards. I’m happy to buy bulk materials - just need to know what you need. Ideally the cost for the offer to include fixings, externals, tape etc

2 defects at the ceiling, and 2 strips at the side, of a recently-installed rangehood need repairing. The ceiling pieces remain intact (see photo)

Need an electrician to connect a soon to be fully assembled sauna to a new power source and connect at switchboard. Room that sauna is in is approximately 6m from switchboard. I have access to under the house. This job is just creating new power source at wall and connecting to switchboard. Not putting sauna together. I’m planning to get someone else to put sauna together 100% then will contact an electrician to do rest

Repair set and patch approximately 2 m² of Chiprock in a bathroom ceiling. No painting required. Just get ceiling set and ready to be painted.

Have two mirrors about 1.8x0.9 I need to get off the wall in the garden. They are mounted on add two bar mounting system. I’m able to help. I just need another strong guy to help lift it and get them both of the wall of the mounting hooks and take into the van which is all flat level surface. Strictly 1pm should be about a 15 min task

The gate needs to be properly mounted into the wall (not pressure-fit), so experience with plasterboard fixings is important. I need gyprock hung in my shed. I will provide the insulation panels.

Set all joints with compound and tape, including internal corners, and install/set external corner beads. Apply second and third coats to joints, angles, and screw fixings, feathering out for a smooth finish. Sand all surfaces to a uniform level, remove dust, and prepare walls with sealer/undercoat ready for painting. Wall is double sided

Carry out gyprock & sand after water leak in two small areas. One needs an access hatch installed. Access hatch are 1000 x 1400 Cupboard 600 x 600 ish

Bathroom walls and ceiling lining

Our outdoor balustrade has had some rotting that has occurred in isolated areas - railing needs to be patched and glued / builders bog in a few spots. Painting not required.

I need someone experienced and detailed who can hang the following 2 x arch mirrors on bathroom tiles 1 x oversized round heavy mirror on gyprock 1 x lower an already hung mirror (gyprock)

The timber balcony balustrade is wobbling so it needs timber batten braces fixed from the top of the balustrade post to the rafters beneath the timber deck. Refer attached images. Supply of materials by me. ie 92 x 18mm H3 timber batten braces, M10 bolt(s), buggles.
