The gazebo is approximately 2.95 m wide × 3.03 m long and expands to approximately 5.7 m. It currently has a fabric canopy that I would like replaced with clear lightweight polycarbonate/Laserlite-style roofing, or another suitable clear product if recommended. The steel frame is already assembled and has curved roof supports and two sliding roof sections. Ideally, I would like to retain the existing expandable function if practical. Job would include * Install clear lightweight roofing to suit the curved roof * Add lightweight supports/battens if required * Advise on drainage/edging if required I have the manufacturer’s full assembly instructions showing the frame and sliding mechanism and can provide photos and measurements. Happy for you to recommend the best way to complete the job. I can also purchase the roofing/materials from Bunnings if preferred. Indicative budget: $500–$600 labour. I understand the final price may depend on what is required after assessing the frame. Please provide a fair, reasonable quote and separate labour from materials. As the existing structure is already assembled, I’m not looking to pay a full new-pergola construction price. When making an offer, please mention your experience with polycarbonate/Laserlite, pergola or similar roofing work and whether your quote includes materials.

Help me clean my gutters for my residential property

Flashing on the roof of my house has come away from the weather boards in a small section and requires repair.

I’m looking for an experienced carpenter/handyman who is comfortable with structural timber and masonry fixings to: * inspect the accessible timber beams/rafters and existing connections * strengthen weak beam/rafter-to-perimeter connections with suitable straps, brackets, structural screws or bolts * check how the perimeter timbers are secured to the brick/block walls and improve obvious weak points where practical * inspect the brick piers/support points where beams are resting * repair one particular beam bearing point where old stone/masonry packing appears to have moved or become unsupported * check the timber around the connections for obvious rot or deterioration * generally make the roof structure and tie-downs as secure as reasonably possible before solar installation Everything is exposed and accessible from inside the garage, so there is no ceiling or plaster to remove. I am not looking for engineering certification, just an experienced tradesperson to inspect it carefully and carry out sensible reinforcement/repairs. I can provide detailed photos before attending.

I need a raven sound proof door system attached to my studio door

Reasonably new property. 2 Storeys and gets gutters cleaned every year. Must have experience, all permits, tools , training and personal and third party liability insurance. Will ask for before / after photos and Will proceed with a reasonable quote. For now adding $5 as price as app won’t allow a blank value.

Water proof laundry with certificate as well as floor tiling, tile skirt to 1 side of room & caulking. Total lay area is 8.5m2 (600 x 600 tiles, room is 4.25m x 1.7m with 300mm high tile skirt needed on 4.25m length). Floor is currently 19mm structural fibre cement sheet. No drain in floor. Aluminium angle required between existing floor boards and tile transition. Tiles are on site and job is ready to go.

Remove (only) roof insulation from a small 3 bedroom home in Ivanhoe on Saturday morning. Ceiling has been removed in kitchen so easy to use to drop insulation on the kitchen floor and then place outside for rubbish collection. Only partially insulated with some patches of no insulation in ceiling.
