We need some repairs of mortar on our tiled roof. There is some mortar that is cracked and damaged which needs repair. We don't want the whole roof mortar, just the bits with damage. Water proof laundry with certificate as well as floor tiling, tile skirt to 1 side of room & caulking. Total lay area is 8.5m2 (600 x 600 tiles, room is 4.25m x 1.7m with 300mm high tile skirt needed on 4.25m length). Floor is currently 19mm structural fibre cement sheet. No drain in floor. Aluminium angle required between existing floor boards and tile transition. Tiles are on site and job is ready to go.

Persistent noise coming from the eaves/roof area of my double-storey home during windy days/nights. The source is unknown and may be related to the eaves, guttering, roofing components, or movement of materials. Remove (only) roof insulation from a small 3 bedroom home in Ivanhoe on Saturday morning. Ceiling has been removed in kitchen so easy to use to drop insulation on the kitchen floor and then place outside for rubbish collection. Only partially insulated with some patches of no insulation in ceiling.

This work is at my investment property in Epping. The tenants noticed water marks on the skirting board and the property manager enaged a plumber to investigate. ------ WORK COMPLETED: Attended property to conduct investigations to leaks in the living room. Accessed and inspected several spots that are leaking. Conducted moisture testing and found most areas with low readings - Almost dry. There are obvious water stains that have dried. Set up ladder to inspect roof and gutters. Found multiple solar panels installed on the roof. Found gutters are full of debris. Found multiple tiles (Roof and Ridge) with cracks. Found the pointing on the edge of the ridge tiles was coming off at the front of the house and some areas at the rear. Cracked tiles or bedding might be allowing water to ingress - Suggest the main cause is the full guttering. Recommend full roof/gutter clean and temporary silicone on ridge capping to be completed for the first stage. If leaks continue we would recommend and full re-bed and point of ridge capping and replacement of cracked tiles. Recommended - Further works to be completed on a dry day. Return and do a full gutter clean. Test all downpipes to ensure they are not blocked. Apply temporary silicone seal to suspect holes and ridge cap bedding.

2 tiles need replacing on roof. Both go under the ridgeline so the cement on the ridgeline will need redoing. I have the tiles that need to be replaced.

I’m after rat baits placed in the roof. It’s a split-level house so there are two roof cavities. Tiled roof. We have a dog so keen to use a bait that doesn’t pose a risk if the dog happens to get a hold of a rat. We also have a smell in one area of the house which I think is due to waste in the roof.
