Kitchen mixer tap leaks when open to use it

We would like to have a licensed plumber come by to replace a leaking swivel kitchen mixer tap with a new, already bought pull out mixer tap. Very similar in size, just that the old one did not have the pull out function. We bought a Phoenix Ivy MKII pull out. Spare bathroom: Water is visibly seeping/dripping from underneath the mixer back plate while the shower is completely turned off. This is the main concern and is shown in the attached photos.
