Fix screws that have come out of bedframe
$50
Seddon VIC, Australia
20th Apr 2024
I have a king single bed, the screws that are holding the frame together have come out of the wood on one side, they are starting to also come out of the bottom in the same side. Hoping this is a relatively straightforward fix, google has some suggestions but i am not at all handy and dont have any tools. I have uploaded a picture of the otherside (how it should look) and how the screws have come out, as well as how they are starting to come out. Would like this fixed asap, however i am not sure what time ill be home today, perhaps later this afternoon or evening? Otherwise tomorrow (Sunday) from 1pm Also if this looks like something that cannot be fixed please comment because I am hopeful but not sure!

Fix hole in wall job I ruined
$200
Seddon VIC, Australia
2nd Feb 2024
Hi there, I had a hole in my wall that I tried to fix myself. However I didn't do it right and I need it to be redone. I just made everything stick out from the wall. You can see in the photos what I did, and how it turned out. Unsure how to fix it and make it flush with the wall. I'm not good at this. I used a gyprock plaster kit from Bunnings if it's any help. It came with a square block and I had to make the hole bigger to fit it. Would appreciate the help, thank you - Due date: Before Friday, 9 February 2024
Custom made window screen for portable aircon hose
$150
Seddon VIC, Australia
1st Feb 2024
I purchased a portable air conditioner, but the window kit does not fit my rented apartment window. I need someone to build a removable window screen- from plywood, fabric or plastic sheet to fit the hose to (hot air needs to escape from the airconditioner) and to stop heat from outside coming back in again. As I am renting and may use this screen in more than on room the "screen" needs to be fully removable. The window dimensions are 86.5cm width x 90 length. The inside of the flyscreen frame where the screen could possibly fit is 82cm width x 85.2cm length with a 1cm depth. I am happy for someone to visit and measure up first. The hose length is long enough to reach the bottom of the window and different window attachment can used to help seal the hose to the new "screen". Im offering $150 to do this job. - Due date: Before Saturday, 10 February 2024
Great work, very friendly and helpful. Fixed this tricky job very effectively. Highly recommended.

Move a heavy 250kg bbq from front garage to rear courtyard
$225
Seddon VIC 3011, Australia
15th Jan 2024
The bbq is 250 kg approx I believe. Haven't been able to weigh it to confirm. Currently on a half pallet as it was when delivered. Needs to be taken from garage to the front door including up a single step. From there needs to go through front door and then onto a dolly or similar so as to protect the floors inside. Bbq has wheels however they are small castor wheels so likely damage the floor. Then needs to go through entry, hallway and living room to rear door. From here needs to be carried to final position in the courtyard. Has to go past a 1m wide timber deck and then over an uneven paved surface. Bbq at highest point is 1.94m and the doorways lowest clearance point is 2.02m. Front and rear the same, though double doors at rear. Bbq is .6m wide. Bbq is top heavy. There may be potential to take it through the park next door however I think it may be more difficult due to items including position of trees and plants, dirt and grass surface. - Due date: Needs to be done on Wednesday, 17 January 2024
Very good job. Nicely done

I’m looking for someone to help me with a few odds and ends. 1. My front door is not latching properly - there has maybe been some movement in the house or something. I’m hoping to have this realigned. 2. Installation of a door knob on the front door (one of those decorative knobs in the middle of the door). 3. Hang 2 large artworks into plasterboard (1200mm x 1200mm ish). The plasterboard in the hallway is super thick - I’ve not seen anything like it before! - Due date: Before Sunday, 5 November 2023
Nicholas’ service was excellent. Great communication and great eye for detail.
Plastering
$250
Seddon VIC, Australia
1st Nov 2023
I’m looking for a plasterer to help patch up some work from a plumbing emergency. There is a hole behind my fridge (around 25cm x 30cm) as demonstrated in the photo. This is where it gets a bit interesting. The other plastering work is around the new toilet I’ve installed. I am just looking for a patch job (so literally just helping make what the plumber did liveable - no holes in the wall etc). I will be doing a full bathroom renovation next year hence doing a basic patch work. Things are a bit wonky so may take some creativity! Have done my best with the photos. - Due date: Before Sunday, 5 November 2023
Jay did a great job solving my issues! Good attention to detail
