Hi, my front door isn't latching. The lock works but the latch does not catch the strike hole. I'm looking for someone to realign the door, move the strike hole or create a larger strike hole so that the latch catches. When it was installed a couple years ago, it was working fine, however the door may have recenty shifted or warped, causing this, although I'm not sure. I am seeking someone to correct this, ideally by first checking the hinges and alingment of the door, etc. If this doesn't work, then perhaps remounting the strike plate higher or trimming off a bit of the metal at the top of the strke hole, or whatever you suggest.

We currently have a medium dog door (circular hole) in our glass door. We have approval from property manager to increase the size of the hole to a large hole for large dog door

I'm looking for someone to install a bendable curtain track to the ceiling of a bathroom to use for a shower curtain. The ceiling of the bathroom is slope and I want the shower curtain Track to be a bit wider than the oval shape freestanding bathtub that it will be used for. All of the necessary materials have already been purchased so I am just looking for someone to install the curtain track so it is very strongly fixed to the ceiling. Please refer to images of the bathroom space and bathtub as well as the dimensions of the bathtub. I have also included an image of the curtain track and ceiling mounts and the approximate dimensions of the installation laid out on the floor. Hi Tasker Seeking cost quotes to install curtain rods on 3x windows. My curtains are (a) 2.90 metres long so Tasker needs to bring ladder, (b) weighing 10kg for each window, so Tasker needs to be experienced in finding studs, using anchors on dry wall, etc. My goals are: - Securely and safely install the rods. My walls are newly plastered and they are old walls. So someone who knows how to do this safely will be appreciated! - install curtains as high as possible until the curtains are just about to kiss the floor. I can be your assistant to doing any of the tasks. I’m just not much of a handyman! My materials: I already have these: - 3x IKEA rods - IKEA brackets (4 pcs allocated each for 2x large windows, and 2 pcs brackets allocated for the 3rd medium sized window) - additional materials like anchors and screws —- I don’t have these yet. Damage to base of wall and skirting due to smouldering bin (outside verandah), re-tracking of some verandah sliding doors, painting of the verandah floor.

Remove old kitchen and bathroom, install new cabinetry (pre-built flat pack), install new bath with overhead shower, wall linings and floor coverings.

Four of our drawers need the soft close mechanism replaced as they are worn out. In the photo, they are the two top drawers on the left and the two larger drawers in the middle. We contacted the sellers of the triomax by harn and that product is no longer being made so it is likely that you will need to remove these completely and replace them with an alternative soft close mechanism. We are happy to pay for the parts, if you source an appropriate replacement. Price is negotiable as it is for labour only (as we do not know how much the replacements will cost and how long to install).
