Looking for an experienced handyman to install a curtain rod and two IKEA VIDGA curtain tracks in my home. You will need to bring your own tools, including a hacksaw/pipe cutter to trim the VIDGA tracks to size. The job includes: 1. Front Living Room: Install 1x standard curtain rod above the window. 2. Sliding Doors (x2): Install IKEA VIDGA curtain tracks above two separate sliding doors. Each sliding door opening requires a track length of about 240cm. Because VIDGA tracks come in standard 140cm pieces, you will need to cut and connect multiple pieces together using the IKEA joiners to achieve the 240cm length for each door. One of my curtain rod brackets has pulled out of the plasterboard wall (see attached photos). Need a shower curtain rod installed in my bathroom had trouble today drilling the anchors only got 20mm need at least 30mm have all the kit it is close to a corner so i do have concerns of the render cracking i assuming i did'nt have the correct masnory bit and drill dosent have a hammer mode i need to sort it out before sunday. Will need to cut the rod to size will be replacing the one we tried to paint lol. Will pacth the holes and come beneth the one we buctherd today.

Task 1 – Curtain Rod Middle Bracket Repair & Remount I have a black curtain rod in my home theatre room where the centre support bracket has pulled out of the drywall, taking some of the wall compound/paper with it. I need someone to fix this properly so it holds heavy blackout/theatre curtains securely. Photos of the damage are attached. What needs to be done: • Remove the loose/damaged bracket cleanly • Patch and repair the damaged drywall area so it’s smooth and paint-ready (ideally by cutting out the damaged section, backing it with a timber noggin behind the plaster, then patching, sanding, and finishing) • Remount the existing bracket using heavy-duty wall anchors (into a stud or with solid backing) • Ensure the curtain rod sits level and is strong enough to hold heavy theatre curtains without pulling out again I’m also open to a quick-fix option (preferred way) if it can be done cleanly and strongly: remove the damaged anchor screws, fill the old holes, and install new heavy-duty anchors in slightly repositioned locations — no full wall patch needed if the result is solid. Please let me know in your quote which approach you’d take. Task2 I also have a small chrome wall-mounted holder (photo attached) that has come off the wall. The mounting plate has two screw holes.
