We need new carpet installed in one room. Current floor is uneven so will need preparation work done to level (plywood?) Carpet has been tearing more and more so I'd like to fix this before it becomes a bigger problem. Would be great to have the gap sealed if it won't look too obvious, however a simple sticky tape on top won't be good enough.
