Skylight shaft lining and plastering (VELUX). Existing setup is a flexi foil shaft between the roof skylight and ceiling opening - want it replaced with a proper splayed plasterboard shaft, paint-ready finish. 1) Remove existing foil shaft. 2) Frame and line a splayed plasterboard shaft (wider at ceiling, narrower at skylight, crisp square corners) - splayed finish is a must. 3) Tape, plaster, sand to paint-ready Level 4 finish. Square edges where shaft meets ceiling. 4) Insulate around the shaft in the roof cavity. 5) Extend the ceiling opening lengthways to make it more rectangular and a feature in the room. Current opening 78 x 59 cm - happy to take your advice on the ideal final length to suit room proportions and skylight position above. 6) Patch and blend ceiling work seamlessly with existing ceiling. 7) Clean up, remove all waste. Existing conditions: VELUX skylight recently installed. Framed opening already in place. Standard ceiling height, living room. Painted plasterboard ceiling. Finish: paint-ready only Access: roof access available, room empty. Location: Cheltenham. Timing: ASAP, ideally next week. I have availability for a neat tradesmen with a good eye for finishes to carry out various wet trade tasks, including spray painting of bare tilt panel walls, basic caulking of expansion joins, high pressure washing of carpark and then spraying carpark areas. Approximately 2 weeks work for the right person. I will provide all materials/tools and spraying equipment etc. Hourly rate as budget.

I want a new built in wardrobe consisting of simple sliding doors with a shelf going across the top and 1/3 of the area to be shelved (in the center) while the rest either side to be hanging space. It looks like when the old cupboard is removed it will be back to studs so internal lining will be required.

We have a cupboard where the ducted heating main vent comes out of. We need the shelves removing and it replastering as it has started to crumble particularly at the bottom. Not sure if it needs the whole cupboard re plastered but certainly the bottom. Also the wood around the vent needs replacing too. Have to supply all of the tools/plaster/equipment.
