Issue description: Water (slightly muddy in colour) has been slowly but continuously seeping through the edge of the wall for at least a month. The issue is now accompanied by a worsening urine-like odour. Water appears to be coming from behind the wall and at the slab edge. A CCTV inspection of the stormwater pipe has already been completed, and a dislodged terracotta pipe was repaired by replacing part of the downpipe with a new PVC pipe. However, the seepage issue still persists. Static pressure testing on the main water line passed. We now suspect the cause may be underground water ingress, a foundation-related issue, or a potential sewer pipe leak behind or beneath the wall. We are seeking: An on-site inspection by a licensed plumber experienced with basement or subfloor water leakage, or a structural engineer who can assess whether this is a foundation or structural issue. A brief written report or verbal recommendation outlining possible causes and suggested remediation steps. Thank you! Jojo

Laundry trough waste pipe is leaking

Hi, I need someone to come out and get the hot water service working at my property. When the property was inspected before purchase, the hot water was working fine. At the pre-settlement inspection, the gas was turned off at the meter, so the oven, cooktop, and hot water weren’t working. Today we turned the gas back on, and while the oven and cooktop are now working, we couldn’t get the hot water service to light despite multiple attempts. Looking for someone experienced with hot water systems to come and take a look and get it working.
