What needs to be done: Supply and install a standard residential pressure limiting valve (typically 500kPa) at the main water meter. Ensure all fittings are secure, watertight, and compliant with current plumbing regulations. Test the water pressure after installation to ensure it is working correctly. Hi, I need the old cooktop removed and disposed of, and the new cooktop installed. I also need the old rangehood removed and disposed of, and the new rangehood installed in its place. Hi, I need a qualified and experienced licensed plumber or bathroom repair specialist to replace a cracked acrylic shower base on the second floor of my house. The crack is near the waste and has caused a minor leak/mould patch on the downstairs ceiling. The scope of work includes: 1. Dismantle & Reinstall: Carefully remove the existing glass shower screen and reinstall/reseal it after the new base is fitted. 2. Removal & Structural Check: Remove the cracked acrylic base. Must inspect the timber joists/subfloor underneath for any water damage before proceeding. 3. Plumbing: Disconnect the old waste and properly reconnect the plumbing to the new base. 4. Waterproofing: Re-do the local waterproofing to Australian Standards (AS 3740). 5. Base & Tile Patching: Supply and install a new quality acrylic base (approx. 825x1125 as photo). Patch and re-tile the bottom row of wall tiles (I will discuss tile options with you). 6. Downstairs Check: Ensure the leakage has completely stopped. MANDATORY SAFETY & COMPLIANCE CLAUSES 1. License Check: Must be a VBA licensed plumber. The person doing the work must present their physical license card on-site before starting. No unlicensed helpers. 2. Paperwork: Before arriving, you must issue a formal quote/invoice via email showing your registered name, valid ABN, and clear written workmanship warranty. 3. Compliance: A waterproofing compliance certificate/statement must be provided upon completion. 4. Payment: Funds will only be released via Airtasker after a successful water-leak test and all paperwork is received. Please provide a fixed price quote including both materials (new base, waterproofing membrane, silicone) and labor. Thank you!
