Kitchen mixer tap — single lever mixer (Grohe-style) has been partly disassembled. Cartridge is stuck and needs to be removed and replaced. Under-sink hot water isolation valve — the hot side isolation valve is faulty and won't shut off.

Plumber needed to investigate and fix smell near washing machine. Smell seems to be coming from the floor drain near the washing machine. Perhaps a blocked drain? No evidence of leaking from the washing machine or associated sink.
