Hi, I recently replaced the sink waste strainer/basket on my double bowl kitchen sink and now the P-trap no longer lines up with the drain tailpiece. The slip joint isn’t sealing properly and is causing leaks under the sink. The setup is white PVC with compression/slip fittings and includes an Air Admittance Valve.
