Hello. Several things need doing before COB today but will be easy for someone skilled. Firstly, probably a house visit to see the tasks needing doing, then to Bunnings to pick up supplies and return back. Bunnings is a 10 minute drive. I have visitors parking on site. - I need some kind of gate installed in my entrance way. Even a pull over blind structure to help with privacy and dogs not being able to see out on street. Pictures supplied. - need screws for my window handle that is broken. It always breaks - need a picture holder drilled into wall and installed. - need another bigger picture holder (which I don't have) installed on opposite wall also

Hi, I’m looking for a licensed NSW electrician to complete several electrical installations in my apartment. I have not purchased the new fittings yet, as I would like the electrician to review the products/specifications and confirm compatibility with the existing installation before I place the order. I will also need to seek approval from the strata for the ceiling fans (I assume). Work required Living/dining area/bathroom - Remove and replace 2 existing ceiling light fittings with new LED light fittings and ideally a dimmer. - Replace 1 existing ceiling light fitting with a DC ceiling fan with integrated LED light. Bedroom - Replace 1 existing ceiling light fitting with a DC ceiling fan with integrated LED light with a dimmer. The ceiling fans will be installed in the same locations as the existing light fittings. No new ceiling locations are planned. The fans I am currently considering are the EGLO Surf DC Ceiling Fan with integrated LED – 48", White with Oak Timber Style blades. The ceilings are approximately 2.8 m high. 2 x 2 of the current lights are on the same switch so I think that would need some work to put a fan wall control (if possible) - See pictures Switches / dimmers I would also like the electrician to: - Check the existing wiring and wall switches. - Confirm what type of wall controller / dimmer is compatible with the new lights and ceiling fans. - Advise whether any switches or dimmers need to be replaced. - Let me know whether I should purchase these myself or whether you can supply the compatible ones. I would ideally like someone who can inspect the existing installation before I purchase the fans and lights, or review the product specifications and confirm compatibility beforehand. All new lights, fans and other fittings will be supplied by me, unless otherwise agreed. If I could have some quotes, that would be amazing. Thanks

Looking for someone experienced with roller blind repairs. The beaded pull chain on my roller blind appears to have shifted/misaligned. The small beads on the chain may have moved out of position or slipped in the clutch/gear mechanism, causing the blind to not operate properly. I believe it may need the chain to be realigned/reset in the roller mechanism, or replaced if necessary. Looking for someone who can: * Inspect the roller blind and beaded chain mechanism * Realign/reset the chain and clutch mechanism * Make sure the blind opens and closes smoothly again Please bring suitable tools and any common roller blind chain parts if possible.

Attaching a shade cloth to glass balustrade balcony. Currently has bamboo slat screening from Bunnings. This needs to be removed, then shade cloth attached and then bamboo re attached on top. Bamboo to be cut shorter height and attach it slightly off the ground. I have the shade cloth, cable ties and metal wiring. It is a street level apartment with its own street entrance so easy access and parking right outside. Shade cloth is 5m long per piece and bamboo is 3 metres long and has two rows together. Balustrade is 15m long all together in separate sections and a 1m high. Bamboo is 1.5m and want it cutting to 1.3. Thanks!

One slat has come out of the guide rail and is severely bent. It is jammed in the track, preventing the roller shutter from operating normally. The damaged slat will likely need to be replaced, and the guide rail may also require repair or realignment.
