- 2 × IKEA EKET cabinets with drawers (70 × 35 × 35 cm each), installed side-by-side as a floating vanity. - 1 × 80 cm vanity mirror with light, mounted above the EKET cabinets. - 1 × floating shelf to be mounted on a separate wall. The two EKET cabinets will weigh approximately 38 kg total once loaded with items, so they need to be securely installed for this load and the additional forces from opening/closing the drawers. The walls are Gyprock/plasterboard with metal studs. We have opened a small section of the wall and confirmed at least one metal stud; there are also electrical/services within the wall. Looking for someone who can: - Locate the studs and services safely. - Assess the best fixing method for the EKET suspension rails. - Use appropriate heavy-duty fixings for metal studs/Gyprock. - Mount and level both EKET cabinets securely. - Mount the vanity mirror separately above them and route the plug for the mirrorbehind the wall. - Securely mount and level the shelf on another wall. Please bring the appropriate tools and fixings. Happy to provide any additional photos needed. Priority is a secure, professional installation suitable for the expected weight rather than relying only on standard plasterboard plugs.

House is very small, so care is needed when moving furniture some furniture to the opposite side of the room and family photos from tables and shelves DAY 1 – Lounge/Dining Remove curtains and simple vertical blinds from 3 small rooms and move them safely to another room. Move lounge/dining furniture to the opposite side and move family photos from tables/shelves out of the work area. After windows are installed, reinstall curtains/blinds, return furniture and photos to their original positions and vacuum floors. Basic drill/screwdriver required. Curtain hooks and screws may need to be purchased from nearby Bunnings; we will reimburse costs. DAY 2 – Kitchen, Kitchen Dining & Child’s Bedroom Remove curtains/blinds and move them safely. Move bunk bed and wardrobe to the opposite side of the bedroom, then return them when next windows installed. Clear kitchen benchtops around the window and return everything when finished. Move kitchen dining furniture away from the window. Reinstall curtains/blinds, return furniture and vacuum floors/carpets. Hooks/screws may need to be purchased from Bunnings and will be reimbursed. DAY 3 – Bathroom and Main Bedroom Remove items from the small shaving cabinet and place them in another room and remove the basic curtain/rod. Installer will remove the old cabinet and wooden frame and leave studs showing the available space. Measure the opening, purchase a suitable new shaving cabinet from Bunnings (cost reimbursed) and install it. Reinstall bathroom curtain + shaving cabinet wtih existing shaving cabinet items Must be reliable, careful and comfortable working in a small house. Own vacuum required.

I’m looking for a handyman to drill and securely hang two paintings in my living room. Each painting weighs approximately 5 kg. The walls are painted, slightly textured and solid when knocked on, so they appear to be a rendered/masonry type wall rather than a hollow wall. One of the drilling positions is already marked with an X exactly where I want the painting hung. Looking for someone experienced with drilling into solid walls who can supply the appropriate fixings and securely hang both paintings.

Looking for a handyman to fix one internal bedroom door that is catching on the door frame and sticking when closing. Details: Single wooden internal bedroom door. Needs alignment adjustment (tightening/swapping hinge screws) or minor edge sanding/planing so it swings and closes smoothly. Please bring your own standard tools (screwdriver, long wood screws, sander/plane if needed). Flexible on timing but needs to fit around our 1-year old naps (usually naps between 1030 - 1145 am and 230 pm- 4 pm) —happy to arrange a quick time that suits this week.

I’m specifically looking for someone who specialises in mounting heavy mirrors onto gyprock and understands the correct fixing methods to ensure they are extremely secure and have a strong hold. You will need to supply/use the appropriate heavy-duty gyprock fixings, bolts/screws and hardware suitable for the weight of the mirrors. I do not want basic screws or an inadequate fixing system.
