Inspect & Repair/Replace Back Screen Door Handle – Smithfield I need someone to visit a property in Smithfield to inspect the handle/lock mechanism on the back screen door. The handle is currently jammed and very difficult to open, so I need someone to assess what is causing the problem and determine whether the existing handle can be repaired or adjusted, rather than automatically replacing it. Job requirements: Inspect the back screen door handle and mechanism. Identify why the handle is jamming / difficult to operate. Advise whether the existing handle can be repaired or fixed. If repair is possible, provide a quote to carry out the repair. If the handle needs to be replaced, provide a quote for the replacement handle and installation BEFORE carrying out the replacement. No replacement work is to be undertaken without approval of the quote first. Ideally looking for someone experienced with screen/security door handles and locks who can diagnose the issue and recommend a cost-effective solution. Location: Smithfield Access: To be arranged with the successful Airtasker.
