When we moved in about 3 years ago the floorboards in the master bedroom in half the room were damaged and we got half of them replaced. Over the last year we’ve slowly started noticing them expanding. We understand this is a normal thing that happens especially during summer when there is more moisture but now the problem is getting even worse during winter when you’d normally expect them to shrink. Perhaps if just the one board that has the biggest peak in the middle is replaced with some spacing it should help alleviate the problem with the remaining ones that aren’t that bad yet. Would rather not replace them all but open to suggestions.
