Our ceiling fan makes a slight clicking noise when increasing speed. It might just be an issue with the bottom part, but we're not sure. Fixing of strike plate of a door frame, which is designed to receive the latch or bolt from a door lock. The metal plate is set into the wooden frame and has cutouts for the latch and potentially a deadbolt. Photos shown are just for reference, doesn’t reflect exact door frame to be fixed.

Need a bolt fixed to garage door. The bolt then needs to go into hole in the ground so door can be padlocked. Will require drill hole into driveway below door - see photo. However, this time I need a slightly larger bolt. And also in this photo, the bolt can easily be removed by simple unscrewing the screws attaching the bracket to the door. Happy to hear suggestions for a more secure solution.
