We need new carpet installed in one room. Current floor is uneven so will need preparation work done to level (plywood?) We have purchased the carpet and currently have someone scheduled to install, but they are now not sure if they have a team to level the floor. Old hardwood floorboards currently under the existing carpet. We do not want to use self leveller as it will ruin the floorboards.
