PVC garden door is not unlocking and locking properly. You need to play with handle for a bit to open it. Needs a repair! Fire alarm is beeping need to remove battery. And the hot tub liner needs to be inflated (we have a pump which would inflate it) For this Friday (12-3pm)

Sash window spring balance repair: I have a tilt-to-clean 1000x1300mm wooden spiral balance sash window from a 1990s building (SE16 5EE) that includes support bars to hold the window at an angle when tilted. The bottom half of the window was blown open into the tilt position in high winds a few weeks ago. I was able to rotate the sash back into the frame so it is vertical again. Now the left side is stuck open (about 4cm from the bottom) and won't slide up and down; the right side is fine. The tilt latches must have come undone to enable the wind to blow it open.

I need my doors to stop loosing so much heat so I saw that weatherstripping was the best way to do so.

I need a handy man for 2 small jobs today: 1. To install a new lock on a bedroom door. I’ve tried myself however I can’t seem to get the lock and door handle to line up enough for the spindle to fit through (out by only a couple of millimetres). It may need additional carving in the slot on the side of the door to help it line up properly. The old lock has already been removed and I’ve bought the new one (see picture). 2. The sliding doors for one of the cupboards has come off its rail slightly (see picture) and is difficult to slide open and close as a result. If you could have a look and try to fix the doors back onto the rails so they move smoothly.
