Hello, I manage a flat council came for inspection and requested the following: Fire-Resisting Doors - Kitchen • Supply and fit in accordance with the manufacturers' instructions, self-closer, cold smoke brushes or seals and intumescent strips to the kitchen door, certified to FD30S standard. 2. Fire-Resisting Doors - all Bedrooms • Supply and fit in accordance with the manufacturers' instructions, self-closer, cold smoke brushes or seals and intumescent strips to all bedrooms door, certified to FD30S standard. In total 4 doors they are already all fire doors, chain self closer already on all doors but has been unscrews from previous tenant so need to adjust and screw back to one side so that door close itself properly. Regarding cold smoke brushes or seals and intumescent stripsn d to be fitted on all 4 doors seems like there is already something on top of the doors but will need to be done all sides I believe please provide quotes including material only thing needed : cold smoke brushes or seals and intumescent strips for 4 doors

Route into the door edge. • Refit/secure the existing self-closing devices — the closers are already in place but some fixings/screws are missing or loose, so they need re-screwing and adjusting so each door fully closes and latches. Please bring appropriate screws. Please include all materials in your quote (strips/seals and any screws/fixings). One of the doors is the kitchen door. I’ll need clear photos of each completed door edge for the council, and if you can provide a short written confirmation of what was fitted, that’s a bonus. 6 self closing fire doors fitted with chains that have stopped self closing. One of them has a new overhead self closing system but still doesn’t self close. I think the tenants have been propping the doors open so the tension has loosened. I cant shut the door properly, everytime i have to push the door hard, some need shaving and some require some movement left to right or right to left, there are enough gap for you to move the door in between the door frame. Intumescent strips on the main door of the flat has gotten damage and needs replacement. It seems to be of 10 mm width and is a twin Intumescent strip.
