Internal FD30 fire door replacement & damaged frame repair I’m looking for an experienced door fitter/carpenter to remove and replace an internal fire-rated door and repair the existing damaged door frame. The existing door/frame has been damaged when I had to force the door open. There is broken/chipped timber around the latch/strike area of the frame, and I need this repaired and made good before/while fitting the new door. Work required: * Remove existing door * Assess and repair the damaged door frame, particularly around the latch/strike area * Make sure the frame is solid and suitable for the new door * Fit new 1981 × 838 × 44mm FD30 fire-rated door * Fit 3 × 102mm fire-rated hinges * Fit 76mm ERA nickel tubular latch * Fit the new strike/keep plate supplied with the latch * Refit my existing door handles, if suitable * Ensure the door is correctly aligned and closes/latches securely * Fit the supplied intumescent seals as required I have already purchased the door and all of the above hardware, so I’m primarily looking for labour and any additional materials required to repair/make good the frame. Important: The frame repair is an important part of this job. I’m looking for someone experienced with door-frame repairs/making good as well as fitting FD30 fire doors, rather than someone who only hangs doors.

It has something to do with the hooks. It requires quite a bit of force and pushing to get it open, so we’d like this inspected and repaired. 2. Ensuite Bathroom Pocket Door – The sliding pocket door has become difficult to operate and is currently being kept open temporarily as it can get stuck. I just need someone to: * Fit and recess the hinges into the door and frame. * Hang the door so it is straight, flush and operates smoothly with even gaps. * Fit a pull handle to the door (pull handle only – no latch or lock mechanism). The frame is already in place, and the door is ready to be hung. I’ve attached a photo of the opening. Our internal door latch has broken and needs to be refitted correctly. We have a new latch and the installation guide, but after attempting to reinstall it ourselves, the latch mechanism won’t click into place or operate properly. Hi all. I have always had issues with the windows in the flat, them being stuck when I moved in, mold, paint falling off etc. Now I would like to tackle the living room windows situation. They have not been opened for a few years (Don't ask) in the meantime the maintenance company also done painting from the outside so I believe they will be even more stuck as they would be already. Could someone have a look at them, so I am able to open them again please but carefully to not damage anything? In addition I would also like the windowsill and frame re-painted in white from inside. I had this done previously but it is coming off again. Please note that the window handles to open don't need to be replaced. Please offer total price for task plus painting/tool cost.
